SUP experiences come in the form of safaris, lessons and fitness; Full-moon paddle adventures are also available. Freedom City Surf also rents and sells SUP, surf, skim and skateboard equipment.

Rum is synonymous with the Caribbean and visiting the Cruzan Rum Factory is a fascinating step back in time when you take a tour of the facilities where ancient sugar mills merge with modern, gleaming steel vats of sweetly brewing rum. The unique tasting room in a picturesque setting caps off the tour when you sample over fifteen types of rum. Duty free allowances are generous upon departure – you can take six bottles of rum with you and the Cruzan Rum Factory will pack them for you in an approved customs/duty free box.
ST GEORGE VILLAGE BOTANICAL GARDEN
St. George Village Botanical Garden of St. Croix is located on a 16.5-acre site just off the Queen Mary Highway, offering visitors and residents a uniquely blended experience of the island’s botanical, historical and cultural heritage The botanical collections—including more than 1,000 native and exotic species and varieties—are established in and around the restored buildings and stabilized ruins of a 19th century Danish sugar cane plantation, which partially overlaps an Amerindian settlement dating back almost 2,000 years. This stunning conservational effort provides a lovely backdrop for leisurely strolls and learning. On site you will also find a beautiful gift shop.
WHIM ESTATE MUSEUM
Engage with history at Estate Whim Museum—the only sugar plantation museum in the Virgin Islands—which allows visitors to walk 18th century plantation buildings, including slave quarters, the Great House, mill and factory complex.
