On the pristine white sandy shore of the West End of St Croix you will find Freedom City Surf, the island’s full-service board shop, specializing in stand up paddle (SUP).  SUP experiences come in the form of safaris, lessons and fitness; Full-moon paddle adventures are also available. Freedom City Surf also rents and sells SUP, surf, skim and skateboard equipment.

Right next to Freedom City Surf is their sister business, Teres Vehjo, a fun beach bar with great food and an incredible view of the glorious west end sunset.

St. Croix offers the best, untouched, unobstructed kiteboarding beaches in the Caribbean. A variety of flat-water and wave riding locations are available to choose from for various wind direction and all abilities. Steady summer winds average 15 to 20 knots. These perfect conditions make the island an ideal place to learn or take your riding to the next level. Kite St. Croix offer lessons tailored to all abilities and has been instructing for more than 10 years. CRUZAN RUM

Rum is synonymous with the Caribbean and visiting the Cruzan Rum Factory is a fascinating step back in time when you take a tour of the facilities where ancient sugar mills merge with modern, gleaming steel vats of sweetly brewing rum.  The unique tasting room in a picturesque setting caps off the tour when you sample over fifteen types of rum.  Duty free allowances are generous upon departure – you can take six bottles of rum with you and the Cruzan Rum Factory will pack them for you in an approved customs/duty free box.

ST GEORGE VILLAGE BOTANICAL GARDEN

St. George Village Botanical Garden of St. Croix is located on a 16.5-acre site just off the Queen Mary Highway, offering visitors and residents a uniquely blended experience of the island’s botanical, historical and cultural heritage The botanical collections—including more than 1,000 native and exotic species and varieties—are established in and around the restored buildings and stabilized ruins of a 19th century Danish sugar cane plantation, which partially overlaps an Amerindian settlement dating back almost 2,000 years. This stunning conservational effort provides a lovely backdrop for leisurely strolls and learning. On site you will also find a beautiful gift shop.
